[LbNA] Long Island Letterbox

From: E. Bourne (edbees@rcn.com) | Date: 1999-06-30 16:51:05 UTC-04:00
Hi everyone,
Well I did it!
I hid my first box today. I believe it's the first on Long Island, here is
a link to the clues http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Lake/6552/box1.html.
I hope you like my pages, (I'm new to HTML too ;-) ) I would appreciate any
input to improve it's appearance.

Happy hunting,

Ed

Great site and clues, Ed!
I like all the extras you put on the page, the suns and pix and map....
Great job on the stamp, too.... whew! I admire all (and there are a lot
here!) who choose to carve words on the stamps! I think that's the hardest
thing! I mean, if you accidently carve off part of a letter, it's awfully
hard to
to pretend it was supposed to be something else!)
Congrats!
Deborah

Ed,

I think you're being a little modest asking for input on improvement. This is outstanding work; You look like you've been doing this for a while.

Nice to see NY develop. How long would it take me to get out to SunkenMeadow from Midtown? On a weekday and on a weekend?

Thank you very much.
I learned from HTML Goodies http://www.htmlgoodies.com. I bought the book
too, Joe Burns makes it real easy to understand.

Thank you, I'm glad you like it. I was worried it was too busy.

Dear Ed,
I agree, the page looks great. By the way, Der Mad Stamper is also a student
of the HTML Goodies page. Good stuff. Three cheers for Joe Burns!!!
